Terms & Conditions - the basics

Having said that, Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) are a set of legally binding terms defined by you, as the owner of this website. The T&C set forth the legal boundaries governing the activities of the website visitors, or your customers, while they visit or engage with this website. The T&C are meant to establish the legal relationship between the site visitors and you as the website owner. 

 

T&C should be defined according to the specific needs and nature of each website. For example, a website offering products to customers in e-commerce transactions requires T&C that are different from the T&C of a website only providing information (like a blog, a landing page, and so on).     

 

T&C provide you as the website owner the ability to protect yourself from potential legal exposure, but this may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, so make sure to receive local legal advice if you are trying to protect yourself from legal exposure.

What to include in the T&C document

Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.

    An FAQ section can be used to quickly answer common questions about your business like "Where do you ship to?", "What are your opening hours?", or "How can I book a service?".
  • I need help choosing a plan or I don’t understand the booking process
    No worries! Feel free to reach out, and I'll be happy to guide you through the options and booking process to ensure you choose the right plan for you and your dog. You can either send a message at the bottom of the booking page, or through the chat!
  • I don’t see my specific issue addressed in any of the plans on your website. Can you help?"
    I’m always open to hearing about any unique challenges you and your dog are facing. If your specific issue isn’t covered in our standard plans, I’ll work with you to find a tailored solution. And if needed, I have colleagues I can reach out to for additional support and guidance. Together, we’ll find the right approach for you and your dog.   • How long does it take to see results?
    While results can vary, I’m confident that by the end of any package, you’ll see improvement in some to most of the behaviors you’re addressing. I prioritize staying in touch with clients, checking in each session and, when possible, between sessions to maintain open communication and support. If there’s no noticeable progress, we’ll work together to find the best next steps.
  • Where are you located?
    I am located in Tacoma Washington. I travel throughout Washington for clients based on need, with a small travel fee. Phone consultations and Zoom calls are also available for most coaching programs, and local meet-ups on a case-by-case basis.
